Support Made EasyWith a few clicks, you can request support for your PC and provide critical information to our support team automatically. Our software allows for remote connection of your computer for requested support or investigations. When prompted, you click “Allow” and we will do the rest.
SecurityWebroot security will be installed and monitored. Our worry free experience means that if a threat is found, you will not be required to do anything. Our systems will automatically clean the threat and generate a ticket right away so our support team can review your machine details to ensure resolution.
Automated MaintenanceMaintenance tasks are completed on a regular basis to help your computer perform as expected. Your operating system will be scanned for problems at this time and repair automatically if any are found (Windows Only). Regular maintenance will help your computer last longer and save you money on repairs.
Our software utilizes special privacy features that allow for the collection of certain technical data such as hardware status (RAM, Disk, CPU, Etc.), Installed Software, Computer information (Model #, etc.), User logged in, network details (IP, Etc.), Security status, and more. Certain commands to make changes such as windows updates, scripts and other maintenance tasks can also be used to provide services without interruption to the user.
To prevent access to your personal data such as files, desktop control and other critical features, your permission is required. The system will not allow access without obtaining your consent first.

Additional services for hardware and software repair/changes will be billed outside of this plan if needed. NET 30 payment terms may not apply to all out-of-scope billing. Only services that you agree to or request will be billed.
By purchasing this service, you confirm you signed with an electronic signature and the parties hereto consent and agree to the use of such electronic signature with respect to this Agreement pursuant to the Electronic Commerce Act 2000, S.O. 2000, c17 as amended from time to time.

Additional services are defined as services that are not included by Managed Home + Security. These services include but are not limited to: Install of operating system software, advanced repair of operating system, data restoration, changes to 3rd party software not provided by ScotiaComp Technologies including installation, uninstallation or configuration, changes to the operating system that are out of scope of ScotiaComp Technologies at the discretion of ScotiaComp Technologies, hardware repair or changes, and more.
Where ScotiaComp Technologies will make efforts to maintain or improve computer performance, reliability and functionality, there are no guarantees and ScotiaComp Technologies is not responsible for any reduction or loss of use of any kind. Computers naturally decline as they age on both the software and hardware levels or from certain unexpected events like power outages and some intervention may be required to resolve such declines. ScotiaComp Technologies reserves the right to decline certain services if it is determined that a computer can no longer be maintained.
ScotiaComp Technologies does NOT backup your data and suggests using a backup service like OneDrive to ensure data continuity through certain disasters. ScotiaComp Technologies is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Partner for business only and does not offer Microsoft services or any related backup service as part of this package. You may request advise from ScotiaComp Technologies with regards to these services and technicians reserve the right to help with provisioning of these service at their own discretion and the customer must purchase Microsoft services directly from Microsoft.
Your first invoice will bill from the date you purchase this service until the end of the current month plus the following month. All future invoices will be generated on the 1st day of each month and invoice for the following months usage. Invoices will be due 30 days after the invoice date and payment will be taken on the due date via automatic payment from a Debit Credit or Credit Card. When purchasing this service, you will pay the first month of services and the remaining balance will be taken on the due date.

After you purchase this service, your account will be configured and you will be contacted within 24 hours to setup your systems and automatic payment. You will receive an email that can be used to install the management software and ScotiaComp Technologies will take care of the rest.
